Sara has elected to put Collins in charge of entertaining her daughter tonight while she lounges on a couch, reading a forensics magazine. Sometimes one has to take advantage of the fact that one's brother-in-law is a sucker for big brown eyes.

Laura looks cheerful but a bit tired this morning.

Turning one year old is hard work.

Sara, on the other hand, simply looks cheerful. A New Year tends to to that to people. Collins, having followed her in, quite agrees.
